Polysulfone (PSU) Material

Polysulfone (PSU) is an amber-colored transparent solid material, classified as a high-temperature resistant, high-strength thermoplastic engineering plastic. It exhibits excellent thermal properties, good resistance to inorganic acids and alkalis, and outstanding hydrolytic stability in hot water and steam sterilization. Notably, it demonstrates superior thermal aging resistance, creep resistance, and dimensional stability. Manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical under the Sultron® brand, this material maintains exceptional mechanical properties and dimensional stability even in high-temperature environments, making it an ideal alternative to polycarbonate.
