PPE Material
Main performance
High strength and lightweight: PPE is known as the "lightest engineering plastic", combining excellent mechanical strength and lightweight characteristics
High temperature resistance: It can operate stably in a high temperature environment ranging from 160-190℃, with a glass transition temperature as high as 210℃
Electrical insulation: It has excellent electrical insulation properties and good dimensional stability
Low water absorption rate: Its ultra-low water absorption rate enables it to maintain stable performance even in humid environments
Natural flame retardant: It possesses natural flame retardant properties, eliminating the need for additional flame retardants
Application Fields
PPE is widely used in various fields such as electronics and electrical appliances, automotive components, household appliances, and mechanical equipment, especially in scenarios requiring high temperature resistance, high strength, and stable electrical performance.
Product Introduction
Polyphenylene oxide, abbreviated as PPO (Polyphenylene Oxide) or PPE (Polypheylene ether), also known as polyphenylene oxide or polyphenylene ether, is a class of high-temperature resistant thermoplastic resins.
characteristic
PPO/PPE is non-toxic, transparent, with a relatively low density, and a wide range of operating temperatures. It exhibits excellent mechanical strength, stress relaxation resistance, creep resistance, heat resistance, water resistance, water vapor resistance, dimensional stability, and electrical insulation properties.
Heat resistance: The glass transition temperature is 211 degrees Celsius, and the melting point is 268 degrees Celsius. It tends to decompose when heated to 330 degrees Celsius. The higher the PPO content, the better the heat resistance, and the heat distortion temperature can reach 190 degrees Celsius.
Electrical properties: PPO plastic raw material has one of the lowest dielectric constants and dielectric losses among engineering plastics, and is almost unaffected by temperature and humidity. It can be used in low, medium, and high-frequency electric field applications.
application
Widely used in fields such as electronics, automotive, household appliances, office equipment, and industrial machinery.
Electronic appliances: various high-voltage electronic components, such as the casings of televisions, computers, fax machines, and photocopiers.
Automotive industry: suitable for instrument panel components, window frames, shock absorbers, pump filters, etc.
Machinery industry: used as gears, bearings, pump impellers, blower impellers, etc.
In the chemical industry, it is used to manufacture corrosion-resistant components such as pipelines, valves, filter discs, and submersible pumps.
